After 6 months of weekend commuting back to Bordertown, Rachel commenced full-time work as an accountant in Adelaide for a few years and headed back to Bordertown to work as a receptionist at an accountants.
In 2005, Rachel married Brett Marshal and together they planned to find part-time work while touring around Australia. When in Toowoomba, Brett started working with Performance Feeds at the Kingsthorpe mill and was soon offered the Mill Manager position at the nearly completed Kyneton plant.
Rachel started in the Kingsthorpe office, where they quickly became integrated into the Performance Feeds family. After nine months in Queensland they finally moved to Kyneton and on the 19th April 2006, Kyneton sent their first load out of the mill. Ten years on, two beautiful children and many loads out of the mill, they are still getting used to the cold. When not working, Rachel enjoys playing netball, camping and spending time with the kids. She is proud to be part of the Performance Feeds family and contribute to the growth of the Australian Sheep and Cattle industry.
Drop the Performance Feeds team a message and we will be back in touch.
